Testimonies from Current Leaders
Koree Willer
Vice President

I joined the Do juSTIce program because it provided a unique opportunity to impact a population that is often overlooked. It challenged my unconscious bias and aided my skills in patient interaction. I feel that I make a direct impact to the Douglas County community. As a board member, I am stepping into a role that advances my career as a healthcare provider through leadership, trust, and advocacy. There's an opportunity to lean into those roles now, take the challenge.

Why I Joined >

My first encounter with do juSTIce was when I signed up for a leadership position. Before that, I had never been a volunteer with do juSTIce. Now, I am a veteran board member and experienced volunteer with the group. This program allows students the much-needed skills to advance their knowledge and comfortability with working directly with patients. This project also provides a community effort towards a real-world problem. The benefit of participating in a program like this is the potential growth that one can accomplish, not only for self but for the community.
General Board Requirements
